Hey everyone, I'm Russell. I started FFXIV back when it launched, but alas I had to break to allow for fixes to be made. Since I've been back on I've enjoyed many of the updates the devs have made, and I look forward to seeing what else they have in store. In the mean time, I look forward to getting to know you all and hopefully get my ranks up, that way when the end game does hit, I'll be ready.

A bit more of my back story: I'm a veteran of FFXI, as well as the USAF. I separated active duty in 2004 about a year after I started XI … totally unrelated. I swear. … I've done every thing from tanking (MMOs, the Air Force doesn't have tanks) to DD, and enjoy nearly every aspect of a well balanced party. As far as crafting, I'm always up for helping out others, and if I'm able to syth something for someone, all I ask in return is the items/crystals needed. All-in-all I just like to have fun and explore the world that has been laid out before us; the digital one … I'm allergic to 90% of the real one. And, if nothing else, let's enjoy this game while it's free. I look forward to seeing you all in game.
