I know the relic weapons seem pretty lackluster to most people. I know the quest is long and redonkulous. I know a lot of people aren't interested.

With that in mind, I would like to get a group within the LS that is interested in completing the relic weapon quest as a group. By this I mean doing caravans and toto rak runs if necessary for the 25k GC seal key item. I'd also like to stack one person with supplies during a hamlet provisioning phase to get them into the top 3, because apparently the seals come quickly that way.

After the seals are collected, the rest is pretty hazy, but I know Dzemael Darkhold, Aurum Vale, and Cutter's Cry speed runs are necessary for item drops (rumor is they are 100% drop with a fast enough run). There is then killing stronghold NM's, Ifrit Extreme version, collecting Beastman Currency, and from what it appears, an Extreme Garuda is on the way.

So with all this said, the completion of these tasks will not only put us within reach of relics, but in a solid place as a top tier Linkshell on the server. The challenge alone of the speed runs, NM's, and primals would set us apart from the average shell.

How-to Obtain Relic ^^;
1: Get 25,000 Company Seals and get key item.
2: Start Quest with Rowena
3: Get 3 hamlet seals from each hamlet
4: Choose weapon quest.
5: Craft class weapon
6: Double meld with needed materia
7: Kill NM from stronghold
8: Get 3 restorative metals from CC/AV
9: Get unfinished weapon.
10: Raise spiritbond to 100%
11: Defeat Leve NM with unfinished weapon.
12: Defeat both primals.
13: Turn in quest.

I've been reading a lot about relics, and most of it is speculation or heresay. I'm not sure this is the full questline, or if it's 100% correct.

Some of the speculation / rumors I have read have included:
1. The class weapon being +1 somehow either makes the quest easier or gives a better relic weapon
2. The restorative metals are 100% drop from a 6th chest in CC/AV if the runs are done quickly enough.
3. The unfinished weapon "inhibits spiritbond growth".
4. The primals are extreme difficulty (this one is pretty much proven true, although they haven't released a Garuda Extreme yet)
5. Hamlet seals are a guaranteed drop to a person in the top 3.

After reading Tabion's post about events and the Linkshell mentality, I'm really excited about the potential for getting these items done. I guess my only further question would be if the LS formal events are going to be structured around getting relics.

There is also talk that you need beastmen coins… so I guess add that to the list.

At the moment most events we will be doing (hamlet/dungeons) are all part of getting relics. Things may change as more content is release but for now i beleve our goal as a ls would be to work towards relic weapons, while also getting dl which is a bonus.
